The TPS2121 is a dual-input single-output (DISO) power multiplexer that automatically selects between two power sources . It operates from 2.8-V to 22-V input and supports continuous currents up to 4.5 A. The device features low on-resistance of 56 mΩ typical at 12 V, minimizing power loss. Programmable output current limiting and adjustable input voltage priority monitoring provide flexible system configuration. Automatic seamless switching between inputs occurs within 5 μs typical, ensuring uninterrupted power delivery. Quiescent current is 200 μA typical (10 μA in shutdown). Packaged in a 12-pin VQFN-HR (RUX) (2.5 mm × 2 mm), the TPS2121 is ideal for backup power systems, input source selection, multi-battery management, and industrial tracking applications.
