The TPS22902 is a single-channel, 3.6-V, 2-A load switch with a controlled turn-on and ultra-low on-resistance (RDS(on)) of 12 mΩ typical. It operates from a 1.62-V to 3.6-V input and features an internal soft-start to reduce inrush current, an active-low enable, and a quick output discharge. The device consumes low quiescent current of 0.1 µA typical and is available in a compact 4-pin DSBGA (0.8 mm × 0.8 mm) package. Selection is ideal for power gating and load switching in ultra-space-constrained, battery-powered portable applications. Applications include power domain isolation in smartphones, tablets, wearables, and IoT devices, as well as load switching in portable medical equipment.
