TPS22912CYZVR TI Power Distribution Switches, Load Drivers

The TPS22912C is a single-channel load switch with controlled turn-on and integrated reverse current protection, operating from 1.6V to 5.5V and supporting up to 2A continuous current. It features ultra-low on-resistance of 42mΩ typical at 5V, minimizing voltage drop and power loss. The device includes a slow turn-on feature (100µs typical) to reduce inrush current, and reverse current protection when disabled. Quiescent current is 5µA typical. The TPS22912C is available in the ultra-small 4-pin DSBGA (YZV) package. Selection is ideal for power domain isolation and power sequencing in space-constrained battery-powered systems. Applications include power gating in smartphones and tablets, battery charging circuit isolation, power muxing, and load switching in wearable electronics and portable medical devices.
