TPS22948DCKR TI Power Distribution Switches, Load Drivers

The TPS22948 is a single-channel load switch with controlled turn-on and integrated reverse current protection, operating from 1.5 V to 5.5 V and supporting up to 200 mA continuous current. It features low on-resistance of 230 mΩ typical at 5 V, minimizing voltage drop and power loss. The device includes a slow turn-on feature (400 µs typical) to reduce inrush current, reverse current protection when disabled, and quick output discharge. Quiescent current is 1 µA typical. Packaged in a 5-pin SC-70 (DCK), this load switch is ideal for power domain isolation and power sequencing in space-constrained battery-powered systems. Applications include power gating in smartphones and tablets, battery charging circuit isolation, load switching in wearable electronics, and power supply sequencing in portable medical devices.
