The TPS51216 is a complete DDR memory power solution providing VDDQ, VTT, and VREF for DDR2, DDR3, and DDR3L memory . It integrates a step-down controller for VDDQ (output current up to 10 A) and a sink/source linear regulator for VTT (up to 2 A). The device features D-CAP™ mode control for fast transient response and requires no external compensation . Built-in protection includes overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown. Selection is standard for DDR memory termination in computing applications. Applications include notebook and desktop computers, servers, graphic cards, and memory modules requiring complete DDR power solution with VDDQ and VTT generation.
