The TPS54340B is a step-down converter with an integrated high-side MOSFET capable of withstanding 60-V surges. It operates from a 4.5-V to 60-V input and delivers up to 3.5-A output current with an adjustable output from 0.8 V to 58 V. The device features Eco-mode for high light-load efficiency and low 152-μA operating current. Current-mode control with adjustable switching frequency up to 2.1 MHz provides design flexibility. Protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout. Packaged in an 8-pin SO PowerPAD (DDA) (4.9 mm × 3.91 mm), the TPS54340B is ideal for 48-V telecom systems, 24-V industrial automation, automotive infotainment, and battery management systems.
