The TPS54540B is a step-down converter with an integrated high-side MOSFET capable of withstanding 60-V surges, operating from a 4.5V to 60V input and delivering up to 5A output current. It features Eco-mode for high light-load efficiency, low 152-µA operating current, and adjustable switching frequency up to 2.1-MHz. Protection features include cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown, and undervoltage lockout. Packaged in an 8-pin SO PowerPAD (DDA) (4.9mm × 3.91mm), it is ideal for 48-V telecom systems, 24-V industrial automation, automotive infotainment, and battery management systems.
