The TPS552872 is a 4-A synchronous buck-boost converter integrating four MOSFET switches, operating from a 3.0-V to 36-V input and providing a programmable output from 0.8 V to 22 V . It delivers high efficiency (up to 98.3% at VIN=12V, VOUT=12V, 2A) and supports up to 30 W from a 12-V input. Features include ±1% reference accuracy, ±5% accurate output current monitoring, programmable PFM/FPWM modes, and optional spread spectrum for EMI mitigation. The switching frequency is programmable from 200 kHz to 2.2 MHz and can be synchronized to an external clock.
