The TPS563231 is a 3 A synchronous step-down converter in a 6-pin 1.6 mm × 1.6 mm SOT563 (DRL) package, optimized for minimal external components and low standby current . It operates from 4.5 V to 17 V input and provides an adjustable output voltage with D-CAP3™ mode control, enabling fast transient response without external compensation. During light load operation, the device operates in pulse skip mode (PSM) to maintain high efficiency. The device supports low-ESR ceramic output capacitors and is specified for a –40°C to 125°C junction temperature range.
