It integrates low RDS(on) MOSFETs (20 mΩ / 10 mΩ) for high efficiency, features a 600-kHz switching frequency, and includes pre-biased startup, overcurrent protection, and thermal shutdown. Packaged in a 6-pin SOT-23 (DDC) (2.9 mm × 1.6 mm), it is ideal for point-of-load (POL) conversion in set-top boxes, broadband modems, routers, and digital TV power supplies requiring 5-A capability.
