The TPS565247 is a 5A synchronous step-down converter with integrated MOSFETs, operating from 4.5V to 18V input. It features D-CAP3™ mode control requiring no external compensation, with 600kHz switching frequency. The device integrates low RDS(on) MOSFETs (20mΩ/10mΩ) for high efficiency. Quiescent current is 40µA typical in eco-mode. Built-in protection includes overcurrent limiting and thermal shutdown. The TPS565247 supports pre-biased startup and is available in SOT-583-6 package. Selection is ideal for high-efficiency POL conversion in space-constrained designs. Applications include high-density networking cards, digital TV power supplies, FPGA and ASIC core rails, and solid-state drives requiring 5A capability.
