The TPS568215 is a high-efficiency, 8A synchronous step-down (buck) converter featuring D-CAP3™ mode control for fast transient response. It operates from a 4.5V to 17V input supply and provides an adjustable output down to 0.6V. The device supports an automatic skip mode (Eco-mode) to maintain high efficiency during light load conditions. Integrated low RDS(on) power MOSFETs (11 mΩ / 8.5 mΩ) help reduce power loss. Selection is optimal for high-current point-of-load (POL) conversions. Typical applications include digital TV power supplies, high-density networking cards, and data center storage equipment requiring 8A output in a compact 3.5x3.5mm VQFN package .
