TPS61040DDCR TI LED Drivers
The TPS61040 is a high-frequency boost converter for LCD bias supplies and white LED backlights, operating from a 1.8-V to 6-V input and providing an adjustable output up to 28 V . It features a 400-mA internal switch current limit, up to 1-MHz switching frequency, and a typical no-load quiescent current of 28 µA. The device includes internal soft-start for inrush current control and a shutdown mode drawing 1 µA. Packaged in a 5-pin SOT-23-THIN (DDC), it is ideal for generating output voltages up to 28 V from a single Li-Ion or dual-cell NiMH/NiCd battery. Applications include small LCD bias supplies, white LED backlight drivers, and 3.3-V to 12-V power conversion in portable medical devices and industrial sensors.
