The TPS61089 is a 10-A synchronous boost converter operating from 2.5 V to 12 V input and delivering an adjustable output up to 12.6 V. It features integrated 9.4-mΩ and 8.3-mΩ MOSFETs for up to 96% efficiency, and a switching frequency adjustable from 200 kHz to 2.2 MHz with external synchronisation capability. The device includes output disconnect, soft-start, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and thermal shutdown. Packaged in a 20-pin VQFN (4.5 mm × 3.5 mm), this converter is ideal for high-power boost applications requiring up to 10-A switch current.
