TPS61163AYFFR TI LED Drivers

The TPS61163A is a dual-channel white LED driver for LCD backlighting, operating from 2.5V to 6V input. It features two independently controlled current sinks capable of driving up to 25V output for series-connected LEDs. The device provides adaptive boost converter with integrated 1.5A power switch. Each channel supports up to 25mA LED current with 1% current matching for uniform brightness. Dimming control is via PWM input. Built-in protection includes overvoltage, overcurrent, and thermal shutdown. Selection is ideal for small to medium LCD backlighting in portable devices. Applications include smartphone and tablet displays, portable media players, automotive infotainment screens, and digital camera displays requiring efficient LED backlighting.
