The TPS62065 is a 2-A, high-frequency synchronous step-down converter with DCS-Control™, operating from a 2.9-V to 6-V input and providing a fixed 1.8-V output. It features up to 95% efficiency, a 20-µA quiescent current, and a 3-MHz switching frequency, allowing tiny external components. The device includes a power-save mode for light-load efficiency and a 100% duty cycle for the lowest dropout. Packaged in an 8-pin WSON (DSG) (2 mm × 2 mm) with PowerPAD, it is ideal for battery-powered and point-of-load applications requiring high efficiency and a small solution size.
