TPS62086RLTR TI Voltage Regulators - DC DC Switching Regulators
The TPS62086 is a 3-A high-frequency synchronous step-down converter with DCS-Control™ topology, operating from 2.5 V to 6.0 V input . It provides an adjustable output voltage from 0.8 V to VIN with up to 95% efficiency and a typical operating quiescent current of only 17 µA . The device features hiccup short-circuit protection, power-save mode for light-load efficiency, 100% duty cycle for lowest dropout, and power-good output. It is stable with output capacitors from 10 µF to 150 µF, offering excellent load transient performance. The 2-mm × 2-mm VSON (RLT) package enables ultra-compact power designs. Selection is ideal for battery-powered and point-of-load applications requiring high efficiency. Applications include battery-powered devices, processor supplies, hard disk drives, and portable electronics requiring 3-A step-down conversion.
