The TPS62095 is a 4A high-frequency synchronous step-down converter with DCS-Control™, operating from 2.5V to 6V input and providing adjustable output from 0.8V to VIN. It features up to 95% efficiency with 17µA typical quiescent current and 3MHz switching frequency allowing tiny external components. The device includes power-save mode for light-load efficiency, 100% duty cycle for lowest dropout, output discharge, and power-good output. Packaged in 3mm × 3mm VQFN-16, the TPS62095 is ideal for battery-powered and point-of-load applications requiring high output current. Applications includes portable electronics, solid-state drives, tablet processors, and high-performance DSP core supplies requiring 4A step-down conversion with high efficiency.
