The TPS62162 is a 1-A synchronous step-down converter with DCS-Control™, operating from a 3-V to 17-V input and providing a fixed 3.3-V output. It features up to 97% efficiency, a 2.25-MHz switching frequency, and a typical quiescent current of 18 µA. The device includes power-save mode for light-load efficiency, 100% duty cycle for the lowest dropout, and overcurrent protection. Packaged in an 8-pin WSON (DSG) (2 mm × 2 mm) with PowerPAD, it is ideal for battery-powered and point-of-load applications.
