The TPS62840 is a high-efficiency synchronous step-down converter operating from 1.8 V to 6.5 V input and delivering up to 750 mA output current . It features an ultra-low operating quiescent current of 60 nA typical, which extends battery life in always-on applications, while in 100% mode the I₀ is only 120 nA . The device uses DCS-Control™ for clean power to RF circuits and has a 1.8 MHz typical switching frequency. Sixteen pre-defined output voltages (1.8 V to 3.3 V) can be selected via the VSET pin, reducing external components, and the STOP pin instantly eliminates switching noise for noise-sensitive measurements . Packaged in a 8-pin VSON (1.5 mm × 2 mm), it is optimal for battery-powered and portable applications.
