The TPS62A06 is a 2-A synchronous step-down converter with DCS-Control™ topology, operating from 2.5 V to 5.5 V input . It provides an adjustable output voltage from 0.6 V to VIN with up to 95% efficiency and a typical quiescent current of 17 µA . The device features power-save mode for light-load efficiency, 100% duty cycle for lowest dropout, power-good output, and overcurrent protection. Switching frequency is up to 2.4 MHz, enabling small external components. The 5-pin SOT-583 package provides a compact footprint. Selection is ideal for battery-powered and point-of-load applications requiring 2-A capability.
