The TPS63070 is a high-efficiency buck-boost converter operating from 2 V to 16 V input and delivering up to 2 A output current with adjustable output from 2.5 V to 9 V. It features 2.4 MHz switching frequency and synchronous rectification for up to 95% efficiency. The device automatically transitions between buck and boost modes, providing seamless regulation when input voltage crosses the output voltage. Quiescent current is 50 µA typical. Packaged in 15-pin VQFN, this converter is ideal for battery-powered applications with wide voltage swings, such as 2- to 4-cell Li-Ion or 3- to 6-cell alkaline battery systems.
