TPS73201DBVR TI Voltage Regulators - Linear, Low Drop Out (LDO)
The TPS73201 is a 250-mA low-dropout linear regulator with an adjustable output from 1.2 V to 5.5 V, operating from 1.7 V to 5.5 V input. It features ultra-low dropout of 40 mV at 250 mA and high PSRR of 58 dB at 1 kHz. The device uses a BiCMOS process for high precision and stability with any output capacitor (ceramic, tantalum, or electrolytic) of 2.2 μF or greater. Quiescent current is 400 μA typical with 1 μA in shutdown. The TPS73201 is packaged in a 6-pin SOT-23. Selection is optimal for noise-sensitive RF and analog circuits in portable and battery-powered systems. Applications include powering VCOs, PLLs, audio codecs, and RF transceivers in smartphones, portable medical devices, and industrial sensors.
