TPS73225DBVR TI Voltage Regulators - Linear, Low Drop Out (LDO)

The TPS73225 is a 250-mA low-dropout linear regulator with fixed 2.5-V output, operating from a 1.7-V to 5.5-V input. It features ultra-low dropout of 40 mV at 250 mA and high PSRR of 58 dB at 1 kHz, using a BiCMOS process for high precision and stability with any output capacitor (ceramic, tantalum, or electrolytic) of 2.2 μF or greater. Quiescent current is 400 μA typical with 1 μA in shutdown. Output accuracy is 0.5%. Packaged in a 5-pin SOT-23 (DBV) (2.9 mm × 1.6 mm), the TPS73225 is ideal for noise-sensitive RF and analog circuits. Applications include powering VCOs, PLLs, audio codecs, and RF transceivers.
