The TPS74801-Q1 is an automotive-grade low-dropout linear regulator qualified for AEC-Q100, providing up to 1.5A output current with adjustable output from 0.8V to 3.6V . It operates from a wide input range of 0.8V to 5.5V with a separate VBIAS supply of 2.7V to 5.5V, enabling low-VIN operation . Dropout voltage is 60mV typical at 1.5A. The device features programmable soft-start for linear voltage start-up, a power-good (PG) output for supply monitoring or sequencing, and 2% accuracy over line, load, temperature, and process . It is stable with any output capacitor ≥2.2µF. Selection is ideal for automotive power management solutions. Applications include FPGA, DSP, and ASIC core power supplies in automotive infotainment, ADAS systems, and body control modules requiring AEC-Q100 qualification.
