The TPS7A8001 is a 1-A low-dropout linear regulator with an adjustable output from 1.2 V to 6.5 V, operating from 2.2 V to 6.5 V input. It features ultra-low dropout of 140 mV at 1 A, high PSRR of 40 dB at 1 MHz, and low output noise. The device includes a precision enable for power sequencing, current limiting, and thermal shutdown. Packaged in an 8-pin SON (DRB) with PowerPAD (3 mm × 3 mm), it is ideal for powering high-performance processors, FPGAs, and ASICs in space-constrained applications.
