TPS7A8300RGRR TI Linear, Low Drop Out (LDO) Regulators

The TPS7A8300RGRR is a high-performance, low-noise (6 µVRMS), ultra-low-dropout linear voltage regulator (LDO) from Texas Instruments, capable of sourcing a 2-A load with a maximum dropout of only 125 mV. Its proprietary ANY-OUT™ architecture allows user-programmable output voltages (0.8 V to 3.95 V) via PCB layout without external feedback resistors, reducing overall component count and simplifying design. Key features include high wide-bandwidth PSRR of 40 dB at 1 MHz, 1.0% output voltage accuracy over line, load, and temperature, programmable soft-start to limit inrush current, and an open-drain power-good (PG) output for power-rail sequencing and system monitoring. The device also supports an additional BIAS rail for input voltages as low as 1.1 V, improving efficiency in low-headroom applications. Housed in a compact 5 mm × 5 mm VQFN-20 package and specified from –40°C to +125°C, this device is ideal for powering noise-sensitive analog circuitry in high-speed communication systems including VCOs, PLLs, ADC/DAC signal chains, SerDes, FPGAs, and DSPs, as well as test and measurement equipment, medical imaging, professional audio, and wireless infrastructure applications.
