The TRS3122ERGER is a high-speed RS-232 line driver/receiver from Texas Instruments, consisting of two drivers and two receivers. It operates from a single 3V to 5.5V supply and features ±15-kV ESD protection on RS-232 pins. The device supports data signaling rates up to 1 Mbit/s, making it suitable for high-speed RS-232 applications. The dual charge pump requires only four 0.1µF external capacitors for operation. Housed in a 24-pin VQFN (RGE) package, it operates over -40°C to 85°C. Applications include high-speed serial communication, telecommunications equipment, and any system requiring fast RS-232 data transmission in a compact VQFN package.
