It features polarity-free connection to the M-Bus, dynamic level conversion, and includes a 3.3-V voltage regulator for powering external circuitry . The device provides programmable current limit, slew rate control, and supports both bus-powered and external-powered modes . Packaged in a 16-pin SOIC (D), this transceiver is ideal for remote reading of heat, water, gas, and electricity meters, as well as building automation systems.
