The TUSB2036VFR is a versatile 2/3-port USB 2.0 hub controller from Texas Instruments designed to expand a single USB port into multiple ports with full compliance to the Universal Serial Bus Specification Rev. 1.1. It supports a 12-Mbps full-speed USB interface, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of USB devices, and provides either two or three downstream ports configurable via hardware or software settings. The device includes an onboard transceiver and a serial interface engine, minimizing the need for external components and simplifying the design process. Each downstream port features over-current sensing and reporting capabilities, enhancing safety and reliability, and supports optional EEPROM or pull-up resistor configurations. Housed in a 32-pin LQFP (VF) package (7mm × 7mm), it operates over 0°C to 70°C with supply voltage of 3V to 3.6V.
