The TUSB521RGFRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) USB Type-C linear redriver from Texas Instruments designed for automotive infotainment and connectivity applications. The device supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps, features programmable linear equalization (CTLE) for channel loss compensation, and includes a mux for lane switching in USB-C implementations. It is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications and operates over a wide temperature range. Housed in a 40-pin WQFN (RGF) package, it operates over -40°C to 105°C. Applications include automotive infotainment systems, rear-seat entertainment, USB ports in vehicles, and automotive USB-C applications requiring high-speed signal conditioning.
