The TUSB564RGFRQ1 is an automotive-grade (AEC-Q100) USB Type-C redriver/mux from Texas Instruments supporting USB 3.2 Gen 1 and Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps. The device features linear redriving for both USB 3.2 and DisplayPort signals, includes multiplexing (mux) capability for lane switching in USB-C implementations, and features programmable linear equalization (CTLE) for channel loss compensation. The receiver equalization provides up to 11.6dB at 2.5GHz for maximum setting, and the transmitter supports dynamic differential voltage swing range of up to 1300 mVppd. It supports I2C control for flexible configuration, operates from a single 3.3V supply, and features low power consumption. Housed in a 40-pin VQFN (RGF) package, it operates over -40°C to 105°C. Applications include automotive infotainment systems, docking stations, USB Type-C hubs, and any automotive USB-C system requiring high-speed signal conditioning and lane switching.
