The TUSB8020BPHP is a two-port SuperSpeed 5.0Gbps USB 3.0 hub controller from Texas Instruments, designed to meet the demands of high-speed applications requiring multiple device connections. It features two transaction translators, four asynchronous endpoint buffers per translator, and supports battery charging in CDP (Charging Downstream Port) and DCP (Dedicated Charging Port) modes. The hub allows operation as a USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 compound device and supports D+/D– Divider Mode for advanced charging capabilities. It provides per-port or ganged power switching and overcurrent notification inputs, along with OTP ROM, serial EEPROM, or I²C/SMBus slave interface for custom configurations. The device provides a 128-bit universally unique identifier (UUID). Housed in a 48-pin HTQFP (PHP) package (7mm × 7mm), it operates over 0°C to 70°C.
