The TUSB8041RGCR is a four-port USB 3.0 SuperSpeed hub controller from Texas Instruments supporting data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps, compliant with the USB 3.0 specification and fully backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 devices. The device integrates a high-performance USB protocol processing engine and includes four downstream ports with per-port power switching and overcurrent detection for enhanced safety. It supports multiple configuration methods including EEPROM, SMBus, or pin configuration, allowing flexible definition of port behavior according to system requirements. The device features excellent signal integrity, industrial-grade stability, and supports a wide temperature range for reliable data transmission.
