The UC2843A is a high-performance current-mode PWM controller for off-line and DC-DC converter applications. It operates from 10 V to 30 V supply, featuring a trimmed oscillator for precise frequency control and a 1-A totem-pole output for driving power MOSFETs. The device includes UVLO with 8.4-V on threshold and 7.6-V off hysteresis (C version), low start-up current (0.5 mA typical), cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and thermal protection. Operating temperature range is –40 °C to 125 °C. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, it is suited for industrial and power supply applications requiring robust control.
