UC2844AQD8R TI DC DC Switching Controllers

The UC2844A is a current-mode PWM controller for off-line and DC-DC converter applications, operating from 10 V to 30 V supply. It features a trimmed oscillator for precise frequency control, a 1-A totem-pole output for driving power MOSFETs, and UVLO with 16-V on threshold and 10-V off hysteresis. The device includes low start-up current of 0.5 mA typical, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, and thermal protection. Operating temperature range is –40 °C to 125 °C. Packaged in an 8-pin SOIC, this controller is designed for high-reliability industrial and automotive applications. Selection is ideal for off-line flyback and forward converters requiring robust current-mode control.
