The UCC28600 is a quasi-resonant flyback PWM controller featuring green-mode operation for reduced power consumption at light loads. It operates with ultra-low startup current of 25µA maximum and includes a 1-A sink TrueDrive™ gate driver output. The device provides programmable overvoltage protection, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, hiccup-mode fault protection, and internal overtemperature protection. Selection is optimal for high-efficiency off-line power supplies up to 200W. Applications include AC/DC adapters, battery chargers, LCD TV bias supplies, set-top box power supplies, and energy-efficient standby power converters .
