The USB2412-DZK-TR from Microchip (originally SMSC) is a low-power, single-transaction translator (STT) USB 2.0 hub controller with two downstream ports, optimized for embedded applications that demand high speed and a minimal footprint. For selection, it distinguishes itself by fully integrated USB termination and pull-up/pull-down resistors, requiring only a single 3.3V supply while internal regulators generate a 1.2V core.
