The XTR117AIDRBR is a precision 4-20mA current-loop transmitter from Texas Instruments designed for industrial process control applications requiring two-wire transmission. It provides a complete current-loop transmitter with a precision voltage reference and operational amplifier, converting a voltage input into a proportional 4-20mA current output. The device operates over a wide supply range of 7.5V to 40V and features low offset voltage drift of ±0.000006 V/°C (max) and offset voltage accuracy of ±0.0005 V (max) for high precision over temperature. The two-wire interface allows signal and power to be supplied on a single wire pair, providing high noise immunity against voltage drops from long cable runs and interference from industrial equipment. Housed in an 8-pin VSON (RDR) package, it operates over -40°C to 125°C.
