IPD60R280P7SAUMA1 Infineon Power MOSFET

The IPD60R280P7SAUMA1 from Infineon is a 600V CoolMOS™ P7 N-channel power MOSFET designed for high-voltage switching with superior efficiency. For selection, its 280mΩ on-resistance and 12A continuous drain current suit medium-power offline converters. The extremely low total gate charge of just 18nC minimizes driver losses at high frequencies, while 761pF input capacitance enables fast switching. A 4V threshold voltage allows direct drive from PWM controllers. The integrated fast body diode enhances reliability in hard-commutation applications, and 53W dissipation in the DPAK package supports compact surface-mount designs. In application, it excels in flyback converters for laptop adapters, LED lighting drivers, and auxiliary power supplies in server and telecom equipment. It's also ideal for motor control in home appliances and small industrial drives, where high-voltage blocking capability, thermal efficiency, and space-saving layout are critical.
